1. Maharashtra enhances subsidy for Pink E-Rickshaw Scheme (Current Affairs 15 July 2026)

• मराठी: १४ जुलै २०२६ रोजी महाराष्ट्राने ‘पिंक ई-रिक्षा योजना’ विस्तारित केली असून महिला लाभार्थ्यांसाठी मिळणाऱ्या अनुदानात लक्षणीय वाढ केली आहे. मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखालील बैठकीत हे अनुदान वाहनाच्या एकूण किमतीच्या २० टक्क्यांवरून वाढवून ४० टक्के करण्याच्या निर्णयाला मंजुरी देण्यात आली.
• English: Maharashtra extended the Pink E-Rickshaw Scheme on 14 July 2026, enhancing the subsidy for women beneficiaries from 20% to 40% of the total vehicle cost. The State Cabinet chaired by CM Devendra Fadnavis approved the revision.

• English: India will host the 5th BIMSTEC National Security Advisers’ Meeting in New Delhi on 16 July 2026. BIMSTEC is a regional group of seven member states in South and South-East Asia promoting multi-sectoral technical and economic cooperation.

3. Indian scientists develop wearable ammonia-sensing device (Current Affairs 15 July 2026)

• मराठी: १४ जुलै २०२६ रोजी, बेंगळुरू येथील ‘सेंटर फॉर नॅनो अँड सॉफ्ट मॅटर सायन्सेस’ (CeNS) च्या शास्त्रज्ञांनी अमोनिआ ओळखणारे एक परिधान करण्यायोग्य (Wearable), स्वतःची ऊर्जा निर्माण करणारे आणि पोर्टेबल उपकरण विकसित केले. हे उपकरण ३१९ ppb इतक्या अत्यंत कमी तीव्रतेचा अमोनिआही अचूकपणे ओळखू शकते.
• English: Indian scientists at the Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences (CeNS), Bengaluru, developed a wearable, self-powered, and portable ammonia sensing device capable of detecting ammonia at concentrations as low as 319 ppb.

4. ECI approves ₹6,000 honorarium for BLOs and BLSsv (Current Affairs 15 July 2026)

• मराठी: भारतीय निवडणूक आयोगाने १४ जुलै २०२६ रोजी मतदार याद्यांच्या विशेष सखोल पुनरीक्षण प्रक्रियेत सहभागी असलेल्या बूथ लेव्हल ऑफिसर्स (BLO) आणि सुपरवायझर्स (BLS) यांच्यासाठी ₹६,००० च्या एकरकमी मानधनास मंजुरी दिली. २२ राज्ये आणि केंद्रशासित प्रदेशांमधील कर्मचाऱ्यांसाठी हे मानधन त्यांच्या नियमित मोबदल्याव्यतिरिक्त असेल.
