1. Indian Air Force arrives in Australia for Exercise Pitch Black 2026 (Current Affairs 17 July 2026)

• मराठी: ‘एक्सरसाइज पिच ब्लॅक २०२६’ या बहुराष्ट्रीय युद्धाभ्यासात सहभागी होण्यासाठी भारतीय हवाई दलाचे पथक १७ जुलै २०२६ रोजी ऑस्ट्रेलियात दाखल झाले. या महत्त्वपूर्ण मोहिमेत भारताची ४ राफेल लढाऊ विमाने, २ सी-१७ ग्लोबमास्टर III मालवाहू विमाने आणि १२० हून अधिक हवाई योद्धे सहभागी आहेत.

2. NITI Aayog releases roadmap for building India as a BioEconomy Powerhouse by 2035 (Current Affairs 17 July 2026)

3. PM Modi virtually inaugurates 75 redeveloped railway stations (Current Affairs 17 July 2026)

6. Indian Navy commissions INS Malvan (Current Affairs 17 July 2026)

• मराठी: भारतीय नौदलासाठी बांधण्यात येत असलेल्या ‘माहे’ वर्गातील ‘अँटी-सबमरीन वॉरफेअर शॅलो वॉटर क्राफ्ट’ (ASW-SWC) मालिकेतील दुसरे जहाज ‘आयएनएस मालवण’ ३१ मार्च २०२६ रोजी नौदलात अधिकृतपणे कार्यान्वित करण्यात आले. या जहाजाची निर्मिती कोचीन शिपयार्ड लिमिटेडने केली आहे.
• English: INS Malvan is the second of the Mahe-class Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW-SWC) constructed for the Indian Navy by Cochin Shipyard Limited, Kochi, and was commissioned into service.

8. Scientists discover new exoplanet ‘Beta Pictoris d’ (Current Affairs 17 July 2026)

• मराठी: १५ जुलै २०२६ रोजी शास्त्रज्ञांनी ‘बीटा पिक्टोरिस’ तारा-प्रणालीमध्ये ‘बीटा पिक्टोरिस d’ (Beta Pictoris d) या नवीन बहिर्ग्रहाचा (exoplanet) शोध लागल्याची घोषणा केली. हा ग्रह नासाच्या जेम्स वेब स्पेस टेलिस्कोप आणि चिली येथील ‘व्हेरी लार्ज टेलिस्कोप’च्या डेटाच्या आधारे शोधण्यात आला आहे.
