• मराठी: नवी दिल्लीतील ‘सेंट्रल विस्टा’ पुनर्विकास क्षेत्र १२ जुलै २०२६ पासून ‘कर्तव्य भवन संकुल’ किंवा ‘कर्तव्य भवन परिसर’ म्हणून ओळखले जाईल. या पुनर्नामांकित परिसरामध्ये सरकारी इमारती, ‘कर्तव्य मार्ग’ आणि भविष्यातील संरचनांचा समावेश आहे.
• English: The Central Vista redevelopment area in New Delhi will be known as the Kartavya Bhawan Complex or Area from 12 July 2026, comprising government buildings, Kartavya Marg, and future structures.

2. Ahmedabad creates Guinness World Record for planting 3.61 lakh saplings (Current Affairs 13 July 2026)

• मराठी: १२ जुलै २०२६ रोजी, अहमदाबाद महानगरपालिकेने गुजरातमधील भादाज येथे ‘मियावाकी’ (Miyawaki) पद्धतीचा वापर करून एकाच तासात ३.६१ लाख (३,६१,०००) रोपे लावून नवा गिनीज वर्ल्ड रेकॉर्ड प्रस्थापित केला. ही मोहीम ७६,००० चौरस मीटर क्षेत्रावर राबवली गेली.

• मराठी: संयुक्त राष्ट्रांनी कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्तेबाबतचा (AI) आपला पहिला वैज्ञानिक अहवाल प्रकाशित केला आहे. या ४० सदस्यीय आंतरराष्ट्रीय वैज्ञानिक समितीचे सह-अध्यक्षपद ट्युरिंग पुरस्कार विजेते योशुआ बेंगिओ आणि नोबेल पारितोषिक विजेत्या मारिया रेसा भूषवत आहेत.
• English: The UN published its first scientific assessment of AI. The 40-member panel is co-chaired by Turing Award winner Yoshua Bengio and Nobel laureate Maria Ressa.

• मराठी: नायब राज्यपाल विनय कुमार सक्सेना यांनी लडाखमधील तहसील आणि महसुली गावांच्या पुनर्रचनेला अधिकृत मंजुरी दिली. यामुळे लडाखमध्ये १७ नवीन तहसील निर्माण झाले असून, येथील तहसीलची एकूण संख्या १५ वरून ३२ झाली आहे.

7. Internet connectivity in Indian govt schools sees significant rise (Current Affairs 13 July 2026)

• मराठी: २०२५-२६ च्या UDISE+ अहवालानुसार, भारतातील सरकारी शाळांमधील इंटरनेट कनेक्टिव्हिटी ४६.२% वरून ६३.१% पर्यंत वाढली आहे. तसेच, देशातील एकूण ६७.४% शाळांमध्ये आता इंटरनेट सुविधा उपलब्ध असल्याचे या अहवालात नमूद करण्यात आले आहे.
