1. Announcement of setting up a Cooperative Life Insurance Company in New Delhi (Current Affairs 6 July 2026)

• मराठी: केंद्रीय गृह आणि सहकार मंत्री अमित शाह यांनी ६ जुलै २०२६ रोजी सहकार मंत्रालयाच्या ५ व्या स्थापना दिनानिमित्त नवी दिल्ली येथे ‘सहकारी जीवन विमा कंपनी’ स्थापन करण्याची योजना जाहीर केली. हा उपक्रम देशातील सहकार क्षेत्र आणि विमा वितरणाला प्रोत्साहन देईल.
• English: Union Minister Amit Shah announced a plan to set up a cooperative life insurance company in New Delhi on the 5th Foundation Day of the Ministry of Cooperation. The initiative promotes cooperative institutions and insurance distribution in India.

2. Consideration to increase retention rate of Agniveers (Current Affairs 6 July 2026)

• मराठी: ‘चीफ ऑफ डिफेन्स स्टाफ’ (CDS) जनरल अनिल चौहान यांच्या नेतृत्वाखालील लष्करी व्यवहार विभाग, ‘अग्निपथ’ योजनेअंतर्गत ‘अग्निवीरांना’ कायमस्वरूपी सेवेत ठेवण्याच्या दरात (Retention rate) वाढ करण्याच्या प्रस्तावावर विचार करत आहे. सध्या चार वर्षांनंतर २५% अग्निवीरांना कायम करण्याची तरतूद आहे.

5. India participates in UN Global Dialogue on AI Governance in Geneva (Current Affairs 6 July 2026)

• मराठी: स्वित्झर्लंडमधील जिनिव्हा येथे ६-७ जुलै २०२६ रोजी होणाऱ्या कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता प्रशासनावरील (AI Governance) संयुक्त राष्ट्रांच्या पहिल्या जागतिक संवादात भारत सहभागी होत आहे. राज्यमंत्री कीर्ती वर्धन सिंह हे भारतीय शिष्टमंडळाचे नेतृत्व करत आहेत.

6. China tests ballistic missile in South Pacific (Current Affairs 6 July 2026)

• मराठी: चीनने ६ जुलै २०२६ रोजी दक्षिण पॅसिफिकमध्ये पाणबुडीवरून डागता येणाऱ्या बॅलिस्टिक क्षेपणास्त्राची यशस्वी चाचणी घेतली. बनावट वॉरहेड (dummy warhead) असलेले हे क्षेपणास्त्र चीनच्या अणुऊर्जेवर चालणाऱ्या एका पाणबुडीवरून डागण्यात आले.

7. Pradhan Mantri Cha Shramik Protsahan Yojana for tea workers in West Bengal (Current Affairs 6 July 2026)

• मराठी: पश्चिम बंगाल सरकारने ५ जुलै २०२६ रोजी उत्तर बंगालमधील चहाच्या मळ्यांमधील कामगारांसाठी ‘प्रधानमंत्री चहा श्रमिक प्रोत्साहन योजना’ (PMCSPY) मंजूर केली. या अंतर्गत शिक्षण आणि आरोग्यसेवेसाठी राज्याने ₹३१३.३० कोटींची तरतूद केली आहे.

8. Astronomers publish updated measurements of exoplanet ‘GJ 3378b’ (Current Affairs 6 July 2026)

• मराठी: ‘ग्लिसी ३३७८’ या ताऱ्याभोवती फिरणाऱ्या ‘GJ 3378b’ या बहिर्ग्रहाची (Exoplanet) नवीन मोजमापे १ जुलै रोजी प्रकाशित करण्यात आली. सूर्यमालेपासून सुमारे २५ प्रकाशवर्षे दूर असलेल्या या ग्रहाचे युनिव्हर्सिटी ऑफ कॅलिफोर्नियाच्या खगोलशास्त्रज्ञांनी पुन्हा निरीक्षण केले आहे.
