1. Maharashtra prepares for India’s first offshore airport (Current Affairs 29 June 2026)

• मराठी: महाराष्ट्र राज्य देशातील पहिल्या ‘ऑफशोर’ (समुद्रातील) विमानतळासाठी सविस्तर प्रकल्प अहवाल (DPR) तयार करणार आहे. हा भव्य प्रकल्प पालघर जिल्ह्यातील कोरे बीचजवळ प्रस्तावित असून, मुंबई महानगर क्षेत्रासाठी हे तिसरे आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानतळ असेल.
• English: Maharashtra will prepare a DPR for India’s first offshore airport. The proposed site is near Kore beach in Palghar district, and the project is planned as the third international airport for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

2. India’s UPI to become operational in Seychelles (Current Affairs 29 June 2026)

• मराठी: केंद्रीय आरोग्य मंत्री जे. पी. नड्डा यांनी २९ जून रोजी नवी दिल्लीतील विज्ञान भवन येथे ‘आरोग्य सेतू २.०’ आणि संबंधित डिजिटल आरोग्य उपक्रमांचे अनावरण केले. ‘आयुष्मान भारत डिजिटल मिशन’ (ABDM) अंतर्गत या ॲपचे रूपांतर कोविड-ट्रेसिंग ॲपवरून ‘वैयक्तिक आरोग्य नोंद’ (Personal Health Record) ॲपमध्ये करण्यात आले आहे.

• English: The Indian Army is targeting to make its first Integrated Battle Groups operational by July 1, 2026. The formations will be raised from the China-facing Panagarh-based XVII Corps, also called the Mountain Strike Corps.

5. AI-enabled Rural Audit Portal launched (Current Affairs 29 June 2026)

• मराठी: नवी दिल्ली येथील पुसा कॅम्पसमध्ये २८ जून रोजी आयोजित ‘राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण विकास संमेलनात’ ‘एआय-सक्षम ग्रामीण अंतर्गत लेखापरीक्षण पोर्टल’ सुरू करण्यात आले. हे पोर्टल ग्रामीण विकास कार्यक्रमांच्या ऑडिटसाठी नियोजन, अंमलबजावणी, देखरेख आणि विश्लेषण करणारे एक एकात्मिक डिजिटल व्यासपीठ आहे.
• English: An AI-enabled Rural Internal Audit Portal was launched at the Rashtriya Gramin Vikas Sammelan in New Delhi. It acts as an integrated digital platform for internal audit in rural development programmes, including planning, execution, and analytics.

6. ICGS Akshay commissioned into Indian Coast Guard (Current Affairs 29 June 2026)

• मराठी: भारतीय तटरक्षक दलाने २७ जून २०२६ रोजी गोव्यातील वास्को येथे ‘गोवा शिपयार्ड लिमिटेड’मध्ये ‘ICGS अक्षय’ या नवीन पिढीतील ‘फास्ट पेट्रोल व्हेसल’ला सेवेत दाखल केले. स्वदेशी बनावटीने तयार केलेली ही ५२ मीटर लांबीची नौका ‘अदम्य’ (Adamya) श्रेणीतील चौथी गस्ती नौका आहे.
• English: The Indian Coast Guard commissioned a new-generation Fast Patrol Vessel, ICGS Akshay, at Goa Shipyard Limited. Akshay is a 52-metre indigenously built vessel and the fourth ship of the Adamya-class patrol vessel series.
