1. QS World University Rankings 2027 Released (Current Affairs 18 June 2026)

• मराठी: १८ जून २०२६ रोजी ‘QS वर्ल्ड युनिव्हर्सिटी रँकिंग्ज २०२७’ जाहीर करण्यात आले. मॅसॅच्युसेट्स इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नॉलॉजी (MIT) ने एकूण गुणांमध्ये १०० पैकी १०० गुण मिळवून सलग १५ व्या वर्षी जागतिक स्तरावर प्रथम क्रमांक पटकावला. इम्पीरियल कॉलेज लंडन आणि स्टॅनफोर्ड युनिव्हर्सिटी संयुक्तपणे दुसऱ्या स्थानावर आहेत.

• English: Scientists from the Zoological Survey of India in Pune announced a new forester moth species named ‘Mimeusemia kali’ from Karnataka’s Kali Tiger Reserve, the first addition to the genus Mimeusemia in almost three decades.
