1. Caste-based abuses in private spaces outside the purview of SC/ST Act (Current Affairs 12 May 2026)

  • मराठी: भारताच्या सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने असा महत्त्वपूर्ण निर्णय दिला आहे की, खाजगी निवासस्थानाच्या आत आणि लोकांच्या नजरेआड (सार्वजनिक दृश्याबाहेर) केलेले जाती-आधारित शिवीगाळ किंवा अपशब्द हे ‘अनुसूचित जाती आणि अनुसूचित जमाती (अत्याचार प्रतिबंधक) कायदा, १९८९’ च्या कक्षेत येत नाहीत.
