1. Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan Appointed Next Navy Chief

• मराठी: ९ मे २०२६ रोजी व्हाइस ॲडमिरल कृष्ण स्वामिनाथन यांची भारताचे पुढील नौदल प्रमुख (Chief of the Naval Staff) म्हणून नियुक्ती करण्यात आली. ते ३१ मे २०२६ रोजी निवृत्त होणाऱ्या ॲडमिरल दिनेश के. त्रिपाठी यांच्याकडून पदभार स्वीकारतील.
• English: On 9 May 2026, Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan was appointed as the next Chief of the Naval Staff of India. He will assume office on 31 May 2026, succeeding Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi.

2. Primary Dropout Rate Hits Zero in Jharkhand
