1. India’s First Underwater Rail and Road Tunnel Under Brahmaputra

• मराठी: केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने आसाममधील ब्रह्मपुत्रा नदीखाली भारतातील पहिल्या पाण्याखालील रेल्वे आणि रस्ते बोगद्याला मंजुरी दिली आहे. ३३.७ किमी लांबीचा हा प्रकल्प गोहपूर (NH-15) आणि नुमालीगड (NH-715) यांना जोडणार असून यासाठी १८,६६२ कोटी रुपये खर्च अपेक्षित आहे.
• English: The Union Cabinet approved India’s first underwater rail and road tunnel under the Brahmaputra River in Assam. The 33.7 km greenfield corridor will link Gohpur (NH-15) and Numaligarh (NH-715) at an estimated cost of ₹18,662 crore.

2. Supreme Court Relief on Disability Pension for Armed Forces

• मराठी: सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने माजी सैनिकांच्या हिताचा मोठा निर्णय दिला आहे. पात्र सशस्त्र दलातील कर्मचाऱ्यांना १ जानेवारी १९९६ किंवा २००६ पासून पूर्ण अपंगत्व पेन्शन मिळू शकेल. पेन्शन ही ‘भेट’ नसून देशाची सेवा करणाऱ्यांचा ‘सन्मान’ (Mark of Honor) आहे, असे न्यायालयाने स्पष्ट केले.
• English: The Supreme Court ruled that eligible Armed Forces personnel can receive full back disability pension payments from Jan 1, 1996, or Jan 1, 2006, without being restricted to a three-year limit, calling the pension a “mark of honor” for their service.

3. Indian Army to Host International Military Adventure Challenge (IMACC) 2026
